American Solar Announces Excellence Certifications

Achievement of NABCEP Designation Protects Consumers and Demonstrates Solar Expertise

Two more experts at American Solar, Arizona's leader in residential solar installation and innovation, have received the NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certifications, indicating these employees have achieved the very highest level of competence and professionalism in the solar energy industry.

To even be considered for the certification, applicants must meet required levels of experience and training in the complex field of photovoltaic energy systems. They must also meet OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) training requirements and pass an examination administered by NABCEP.

"We have always been proud of the level of expertise we bring to our business because it gives our customers a high level of confidence in what we're doing," said American Solar President and co-founder Sean Seitz. "At the same time, we believe we can always be better. That's why our company culture encourages education and personal growth. Our employees continue their training long after they've been hired and work constantly to achieve this kind of advanced certification."

Four American Solar experts have now achieved NABCEP certification. They are Jim Brown, Director of Construction; Andrea Sieler, Project Manager; Craig Murphy, Project Manager; and Michael Reilly, Construction Superintendent.
