Applicants to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program at CollegeAmerica now have the option of choosing from two new emphasis areas.

The college has evolved its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program by adding concentrations in Human Resources and New Media Marketing, aimed at students who wish to focus on more specialized functions within the broad spectrum of business roles.

Students who choose the Human Resources emphasis will learn various aspects of HR management including, but not limited to, staffing, talent retention, employee training and development, benefits and compensation, organizational policies, conflict resolution, and employment law.

The in-depth knowledge and training a graduate receives over the course of the program helps prepare them to compete for a variety of roles in the human resources department of many organizations.

The second new emphasis, New Media Marketing, is designed to help train students in leveraging the power of social media to accomplish business objectives. As part of this program, graduates can learn how to utilize the emerging social media technologies for internal and external communication, to meet sales targets and marketing objectives, and to implement organizational change.

Their skill set helps qualify graduates of this program for entry-level marketing, office management, and communication/advertising roles.

Although the standard duration of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree is 36 months, CollegeAmerica provides students the opportunity to graduate in just 30 months on its flexible schedule.

CollegeAmerica offers the Human Resources emphasis at its Colorado Springs, Denver, South Colorado Springs, and Cheyenne campuses, while the New Media Marketing emphasis is available at its Fort Collins and Denver facilities only.

Students interested in pursuing the program online can do so through CollegeAmerica's affiliate, Stevens-Henager College, Salt Lake/Murray Campus.

All students must complete the enrollment process before they can begin classes, which includes meeting with the financial aid department to learn about the financial aid for which they may qualify and sitting for an interview.
