Altep, Inc. Expands Computer Forensics Services, Names Warren Kruse VP of Data Forensics
Altep, Inc. announced that Warren Kruse, an industry veteran and notable computer forensics expert, has joined the firm as Vice President of the Data Forensics Division to expand and develop Altep's existing forensic services.
Online, March 14, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Altep, Inc., a leader and innovator in the fields of electronic data discovery and computer forensics, today announced that Warren Kruse, an industry veteran and notable computer forensics expert, has joined the firm.
As Vice President of the Data Forensics Division, Warren will expand and develop Altep's existing forensics services team to provide expertise in forensic data collection and analysis, information security, risk assessment and electronic evidence preservation. Additionally, Warren and his team will assist clients with expert witness testimony and support for both internal and federal investigations.

A frequent lecturer on computer forensics, incident response, and cybercrime, Warren has lectured internationally for groups including the SANS Computer Security Institute, MIS Institute, Certified Fraud Examiners and the ISSA. He is the co-author of "Computer Forensics: Incident Response Essentials" and his work has been featured on the cover of Time Magazine as well as on CNN, USAToday and TechTV.
Warren currently serves as the President of the Digital Forensics Certification Board, and was formerly the Chair of the EDRM Preservation and Collection working group. He has testified as an expert witness on behalf of the Securities and Exchange Commission and in the New York Superior Court.
With credentials including Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Warren is a member of the High Technology Crimes Investigation Association (HTCIA), the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists, the Electronic Crime Task Force, and numerous other professional organizations.
