Exceptional Minds With Autism Attend Cast and Crew Screening

The Super Hero saga continues for Exceptional Minds visual effects artists, who attended Tuesday’s cast and crew screening of Marvel Studios’ "Ant-Man and The Wasp."

This is the latest in a string of Marvel Studios movies for Exceptional Minds Studio, the only visual effects and animation studio staffed entirely by professional artists on the autism spectrum. For "Ant-Man and The Wasp," Exceptional Minds artists Nicolas Arredondo, Andrew Dugan, Lloyd Hackl, Eli Katz, Madeleine Petti, Tony Saturno and Mason Taylor did visual effects cleanup on several shots (tracker marker removals, roto, paint and compositing). Exceptional Minds Studio Executive Producer Susan Zwerman and Studio Coordinator Jennifer Giandalone, along with visual effects supervisors Immanuel Morris, Kenneth Au and Megan Flood, supervised the work. Exceptional Minds supervisor Josh Dagg supervised the end-title work.

Exceptional Minds artists have done visual effects and/or end title credits for Marvel Studios’ "Avengers: Infinity War," "Black Panther," "Thor: Ragnarok," "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," "Doctor Strange," "Captain America: Civil War," "Ant-Man" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

The cast and crew screening for "Ant-Man and The Wasp" was held Tuesday, July 3, at the Regency Village Theater. The movie opens in U.S. theaters on July 6.

Since opening its doors almost four years ago, the small studio has done tracker marker removal, split screen, green screen keying and rotoscoping for compositing as well as end title credit work and animation for more than 50 major motion pictures and/or television series"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" and "The Good Doctor" are more recent additions.
