APEX CEO Joe Leader to Make Premier Presentation at 10th Annual FTE Global in Las Vegas Alongside Facebook

Leader to Reveal How Key Technological Advances Have Arrived to Revolutionize Airline Passenger Experience

The Airline Passenger Experience Association’s (APEX) CEO Joe Leader will take center stage at FTE Global on 11 September to showcase technological advancements that will transform the air travel experience.  Leader will make his premier industry presentation in the keynote slot adjacent to Lee McCabe, Global Head of Travel, Education and Consumer Services at Facebook.  In the spirit of following Facebook’s curation around each individual, Leader will demonstrate how airlines will customize experiences for passengers during all phases of their journey.

“Future Travel Experience is delighted that APEX’s new CEO, Joe Leader, has selected FTE Global as the forum where he will give his first industry address and meet the hundreds of industry-leading figures in attendance,” said Daniel Coleman, Future Travel Experience Founder.

Leader’s presentation, entitled “The Future Has Already Arrived: The Airline Experience of You,” will demonstrate how flight curation will help shape individual passenger experiences based on personal preferences.  Using currently available technologies, Leader will fly through how the airline passenger experience will be customized at each step including flight purchase, airport arrival, in-airport guidance, enhanced in-flight entertainment, predictive onboard services, intelligent in-flight delay options, and guided arrival.

With the last minute addition of Leader, members of the press are still being fully accommodated by FTE Global and APEX press services.  Following his presentation at FTE, Leader will speak later this month to over 3500 attendees at the member-exclusive event APEX EXPO in Portland, Oregon on 28 September.
