Downtown 500 Releases First Issue of '500 Magazine'

Groundbreaking Art Magazine with Augmented Reality Capabilities

Downtown Magazine

On Oct. 24, 2019, Downtown 500 is launching its first issue of 500 Magazine, an art magazine with augmented reality capabilities that highlights the work of some of the most exciting upcoming artists in the country. "We are very excited to release this first issue of 500 Magazine," said Downtown 500 Founder and CEO, Adam Yarsinsky. The cover story focuses on three young men from Missouri who opened their own art gallery, QZ Studios, and developed an augmented reality mobile application that brings artwork to life. QZ has teamed up with Downtown 500 to include augmented reality features in each copy of 500 Magazine and is also bringing their groundbreaking gallery technology to Philadelphia next week to celebrate the magazine’s release. "QZ Studios is sharing their forward-thinking technology and we are thankful for this partnership," said Yarsinsky.

The 500 Magazine Release Party will take place on Thursday, Oct. 24 at The Maas Building in Philadelphia. The event will feature art by local fine artists, live music by Courier Club, a fashion display by Liza Denim, and a photography booth by Austin Ursa to form a diverse creative hub for guests to enjoy. The first issue of 500 Magazine can be purchased at the event or online at https://downtown500.com.
