Eli Davis Announced as Executive Director of Pro Player Health Alliance Dental Program

PHOENIX, May 25, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA) is pleased to announce Elijah Davis as the executive director of PPHA's new dental program. Eli will be responsible for the PPHA sales team, developing new business/marketing opportunities and most importantly administering the dental program for former players of the NFL.

This plan is going to be unique in the fact that it will give the former players benefits with very little out-of-pocket expense to these former players. This plan will provide the basic needs of general dentistry, including but not limited to crowns, root canals, partials, dentures, etc. It will also provide orthodontic needs through a clear tray system in conjunction with removable appliances when needed. This plan was created and developed by David Gergen, founder and CEO of Gergen's Orthodontic Laboratory, American Sleep and Breathing Academy, Pro Player Health Alliance and Gergen's Sleep Appliance Laboratory.

Gergen began working with former players of the NFL when he was commissioned by Andre Collins, executive director NFLPA/Professional Athletes Foundation to create a sleep program for the NFL's former players. The program began in 2011 and has grown into an incredibly beneficial resource for the players. It has life-changing andlife-savingg outcomes with over 1,400 players screened and treated.

Gergen was asked by Andre Collins if he could develop a dental program for the former players of the NFL. Gergen said he was not only up to the challenge but had been wanting to do this for years. This program will have a custom call center with athletes and former players to facilitate players with dentists and dental benefits. Gergen knew he would have to find a very intelligent and dedicated individual with a background in finance, business, medical and dental background. Fortunately for Gergen, he has a personal friend who meets all the criteria in Eli Davis.

Elijah Davis has served in the financial securities industry for the past four years. He is a licensed Registered Representative under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Most recently employed at Griffin Capital Securities, a registered broker dealer and sponsor or co-sponsor of two '40 Act Interval Funds and several public, non-listed real estate investment trusts: Griffin Institutional Access™ Credit Fund and Griffin Institutional Access™ Real Estate Fund. Mr. Davis focused on raising investor capital through Morgan Stanley and Registered Investment Advisor financial advisors. While at Griffin, Mr. Davis helped expand several of the Griffin investment offerings - one in particular, the Griffin Institutional Access™ Real Estate Fund, a portfolio that he has helped grow from $30 million to $2.4 billion.

As a former Division I college basketball player, he understands what it takes to stay disciplined, focus and work well under pressure. Mr. Davis was a four-year varsity basketball letterman at Deer Valley High School, State Track Champion and Collegiate Division I basketball player at Southern Utah University.

He has always had a passion for athletics and is shifting his focus on improving the lives of former athletes around the country after their  transition from the NFL. He will provide the necessary tools to help former players achieve treatment in sleep apnea, dental, health and wellness programs. His strong winning attitude and "people-person" personality are assets that will complement and enhance his ability to meet the needs of the former players.
