EY Announces Jordan Allen of Stay Alfred as an Entrepreneur of the Year® 2019 Pacific Northwest Award Finalist

Jordan Allen joins ranks of unstoppable entrepreneurs in the Pacific Northwest

EY recently announced that Founder and CEO, Jordan Allen of Stay Alfred, the nation’s largest provider of short-term travel apartments, is a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2019 Pacific Northwest Awards.

Widely considered one of the most prestigious business awards programs in the U.S., the program recognizes entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities, while also transforming our world. Allen was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 14 at King Street Ballroom & Perch in Seattle.

“I’m honored to be nominated for this prestigious award among numerous other deserving candidates,” said Allen. “Being recognized as a leader in the rapidly expanding hospitality industry solidifies the hard work and dedication of our entire team across the country.”

The former Army Ranger bootstrapped the company to $25 million prior to raising any outside capital. Allen has since expanded Stay Alfred into 33 cities with over 2,500 units in only the best walkable downtown neighborhoods so guests can experience the city like a local. The 300-person company, which has hosted more than 800,000 guests, leases partial to entire buildings in cities and operates them as travel apartments.

Now in its 33rd year, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries throughout the world. Founded and produced by Ernst & Young LLP, the Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards are nationally sponsored by SAP America and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National competition. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 16, 2019. The awards are the culminating event of the Strategic Growth Forum®, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
