Festival of Inner Peace to Perform in Toronto as Part of North American Tour

Music event encourages art that entertains and enlightens.

Festival of Inner Peace

Local nonprofit organization Sahaja Yoga Meditation brings a unique meditation experience to audiences in Toronto, as it hosts the Festival of Inner Peace 2018, in the Medical Sciences Auditorium at the U of T Downtown Campus. Featuring fusion music from classical Indian artists and Flamenco guitarists, the global band, IndiaLucia, will delight audiences in Toronto, and across the Northeastern United States, with a series of free concerts.

This event is a musical journey to help people of all walks of life discover inner peace through music and meditation. Audiences can expect an assortment of instruments, musical styles, and uplifting notes culminating in a meditative experience described as Self Realization.

You know how there are some musical pieces that can't be boxed into a category? Meditation is like that- it's universal and this is a synergy we need to do more with.

Shamik Gosh, Head of Outreach for the 2017 Festival of Inner Peace

Expect to relax, enjoy, and be uplifted.
