REMIIT and CASHWAY Announce Alliance to Facilitate Blockchain Money Transfers to Nepal

SINGAPORE, February 7, 2019 (Newswire.com) - REMIIT, a blockchain-based global remittance and payment platform that is focusing on expanding its overseas money transfer platform, will be bringing its services to Nepal to build a stronger network of money transfer service providers.

CASHWAY is a global remittance company located in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. With a philosophy of “Trust and Happiness,” CASHWAY has built a global network of 157 countries including South Korea, Japan, and the U.S. CASHWAY is specialized in providing total remittance services such as domestic remittance in Nepal, overseas remittance, and cash pickup. Despite Nepal not being known as a country that makes it easy for non-banking companies to obtain money transfer licenses there, CASHWAY was able to obtain a money transfer license from the Nepal Central Bank.

Through the agreement, CASHWAY will participate in REMIIT’s remittance platform as an international remittance company processing inbound and outbound overseas remittances in Nepal.
