TWiT.tv CEO, Lisa Laporte, Announces Premiere of New Show: Hands-on Tech

At TWiT.tv, CEO Lisa Laporte recently announced the launch of a new podcast called Hands-On Tech or HOT. Like many other shows at TWiT, HOT focuses on gear, gadgets, and tech. The show is hosted by Leo Laporte, Jason Howell, Megan Morrone, and various other people from TWiT. Audiences will get to hear reviews, previews, and witness unboxings of some of the hottest tech gadgets, such as the latest smartphones, notebooks, wearables, devices for a smart home, electric vehicles, and even more.

TWiT is bringing audiences this show because they value providing their audience with information on the latest news and items in tech. It’s important to the company that their audience is up-to-date with happenings and products in the tech industry. TWiT frequently gets to try out new tech, thanks to their wide array of other shows, which has led to the decision to launch Hands-On Tech in order to provide viewers with reviews of these products all in one place.

Unlike their other shows, Hands-On Tech will have a more unique schedule. The show won’t stick to a set publishing schedule. Instead, HOT will release a show anytime they're able to get hold of a new piece of tech that they can try out and report back to TWiT audiences on. There may even be some weeks where multiple episodes are posted in that week because they have plenty of news to bring to their audience.

Some of TWiT's older videos featuring product reviews can be found on the Hands-On Tech Youtube page, which also features their most recent videos from HOT. Some of the pieces of technology that have already been looked at this year include the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e, the Harry Potter Kano Coding Kit, and the 2019 Jaguar I-PACE. The hosts test out these gadgets and then let the audience know their thoughts and whether or not the technology is worth the investment.

Interested listeners can subscribe to Hands-On Tech as a podcast or check out the show’s Youtube page.
