​Innovation incubator Ubercool Innovation has launched an online store to sell its "Chuckle" T-shirt, which is an integral element of the company's initiative to drive more innovation. The t-shirt is part of a social gamification strategy that will "out" innovation obstacles at organizations worldwide. T-shirt owners are encouraged to wear Chuckle t-shirts at meetings, press conferences, conferences, or even dinner, to make a bold statement about the severe lack of innovation in society.

"A Forrester Research study found that just 11% of organizations budget for innovation. That means that 89% are not fully convinced of the merits of innovation," says Ubercool Innovation Founder and Chief Trend Forecaster Michael Tchong. This all-too-common shortfall lead Ubercool Innovation to create an initiative that addresses a major challenge: "How do you encourage more innovation?" The incubator's approach relies on a social media campaign that uses the hashtag #youcallthatinnovation to irreverently motivate the 89% of business and government officials who do not actively practice innovation.
