Wine Walk Through the heART of the City

March Reno Wine Walk Supports, Art Spot Reno.

Help support Art Spot Reno and the Reno Riverwalk District during the Reno Wine Walk, on Saturday, March 14, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., a perfect occasion to show appreciation for community, and wine.

It’s not only the love of wine worth celebrating this March, but it’s also a day to show support for your favorite charity. Each month portions of the proceeds for the Reno Wine Walk benefit local charitable organizations. In over eight years the event organizers have donated more than $102,500 to local non-profits.

This March, the Riverwalk District’s monthly event will be supporting Art Spot Reno. Art Spot Reno is an organization dedicated to promoting and providing information and education to artists and the Reno community. Art Spot Reno is defining Reno as a burgeoning arts destination by contributing to the growth and integration between local artists and businesses. They celebrate and support the Reno community by coordinating diverse arts and cultural events, providing tours, and partnering with alternative venues for artistic experiences.

The Wine Walk is a monthly event held on the third Saturday where guests purchase a decorative wine glass for a $20 wine-tasting fee. With wine glass in hand and a valid photo ID, attendees receive an ID bracelet, which allows them to sample wine at any of the twenty-plus participating merchant locations. Many of the businesses hand paint each individual wine glass, which attendees get to take home. At the end of the event, attendees enter to win over $800 in gift cards from all the participating merchants during a 5 p.m. raffle.
