Online Tutor and Author Seeks To Correct Possible Side Effects of Pesticides That May Cause ADHD

A new study that links Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to pesticides in produce has left parents looking for solutions to their children's behaviors. The stresses of taking care of ADD/ADHD children have forced parents to seek outs

According to the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a pesticide, organophosphate, may be contributing to ADHD in children. Some researchers claim that the pesticides contribute to behavior problems, anxiety, and stress in children.

Yet, buying organic produce is not enough to stave off the possible problems.

Stuart Ackerman, founder of the online tutoring website, TutorGiant.com, says that his website and new book are helping parents cope.

"Researchers are beginning to understand the variables that are possibly involved with, and linked to attention deficit disorder and ADHD. What's more important right now is that we, as parents and educators help our children to overcome these burdens."

Ackerman, an author and a certified school teacher with a Masters degree from New York State, has released his newest book on Amazon.com, Learn'Em Good - ADD/ADHD: Simple and Effective Ways to Improve Your ADD/ADHD Child's Behavior, Math, and English Skills at Home which offers solutions to parents who have children with ADD/ADHD type symptoms.

"As a classroom teacher, I have helped many families over the years to modify their children's behaviors. I have also taken a personal interest in doing as much research as I can in order to find out some of the most common concerns these parents have."

Ackerman's video website, Tutorgiant.com, has an impressive 400 videos and over 350 free educational tips. The video lessons contain visual graphics, clear instruction, and worksheets which, Mr.Ackerman says, caters to ADD/ADHD children who have short attention spans.

"As a teacher and parent, I want to help other parents and see their children improve their reading comprehension, math skills, and writing. I've had numerous parents thank me for my online video lessons."
