Polystar, provider of market leading service assurance solutions, today announced the release of the latest improvement within network monitoring solutions and customer experience management. Key features of this release include:

Performance optimisation for Lower Cost of Ownership

-Given the mobile data explosion in mobile networks in recent years, operators all over the world have raised the question of the increased foot-print of monitoring systems. To meet this, Polystar has put a lot of effort in this release regarding performance and optimisation of data monitoring, to lower the cost of ownership for operators. The demand initially came from Polystar's Tier-1 customers but it will be a great advantage for all Polystar customers.

Unified Operation and Management to lower system administration costs

-Jupiter and OSIX are now both configured and supervised from the same user interface, simplifying administration of the system.

Additional Quality of Service metrics for fast problem isolation and troubleshooting

- TCP performance metrics including latency, RTT, and handshake completeness

- DNS latency

Subscriber Analysis of Mobile data traffic - The individual in focus

-Jupiter's Dashboard application is enhanced to support fast searches of performance and usage data on individual subscribers (MSISDNs). By utilising the flexible dashboards creation together with the new search field, operators can easily build dashboards for a technical as well as a non-technical audience, such as customer care, to increase number of calls being returned by first-line customer care, offloading second- and third-line support.

-Continued focus on LTE, strengthening Polystar's leading position
Cross-technology correlation and reporting is a key function in Polystar systems. In this release we take the next big step in that direction by bringing in the LTE/4G parts. Now it is possible to track a call, voice or data, over different technologies to troubleshoot end-to-end.
