California Employment Training Panel Fund Expected to Run Out in January; OC Companies Urged to File Now for Training Refunds

Irvine, CA, October 30, 2015 (Newswire.com) - OC companies can ease their employee training budget concerns by filing now for training refunds from the California Employment Training Panel (ETP). The Training Refund Group in Orange County expects the fund to run out by Jan. 2016.

The ETP was established in 1982 and has paid more than $1.4 billion to businesses, allocating $90 million for the 2015-16 fiscal year. The funding comes from the Employment Training Tax ($7 per employee/per year). More than 80,000 companies in the state have already received benefits from this program.
