32nd Annual Reclaiming Spiral Dance Ritual - October 29, 2011
Online, October 15, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The 32nd Annual Spiral Dance ritual will take place at Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco.
This ritual offers a celebration of our Beloved Dead, a time to connect with others through magick, art, music, and dance. Since 1979, the Spiral Dance has been held at the time of Samhain, encouraging Pagans and community members to join together in order to create positive renewal for the year.
The ritual intention for the 32nd Annual Spiral Dance ritual is a major fundraising event for Reclaiming, a San Francisco traditional of Witchcraft. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at the Spiral Dance website, offered on a sliding scale from $20 to $100.
T-shirts and commemorative Spiral Dance posters will also be available for purchase, with the proceeds going to support Reclaiming rituals, events, and classes.
The doors will open at Kezar Pavilion at 6:00pm, and attendees can view altars that celebrate the elements, the Fae, social causes, and political action.
Reclaiming, an activist tradition, seeks to support change in the world, with respect to the Earth and to each other.
This year's intention is: With our Beloved Dead we dance the spiral, honoring the cycle of life, death and rebirth. Together we wake up and hear Earth's call to action and become the heras of a new story!
All are welcome to the ritual, which begins at 7:30pm.
