97.9 The Beat Radio Personality, J-Kruz Helps Students Prepare For Upcoming School Year

Online, July 21, 2011 (Newswire.com) - With the upcoming school year just around the corner it is time for students to begin preparing for the upcoming school year. 97.9 The Beat FM Radio personality, J-Kruz, will be attending the seventh annual Back to School Roundup, Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, Amon G Carter Exhibit Hall in Fort Worth, Texas.

As one of the newest members of 97.9 The Beat FM Radio, J-Kruz is no stranger when it comes to helping the Dallas/Fort Worth Community. Last school year J-Kruz visited several schools in the Dallas and Fort Worth school districts to attend several pep-rallies, career day events, and etc. J-Kruz will be volunteering at Back To School Roundup, where he will be passing out school supplies to eligible families of Tarrant County to get them ready and pumped-up for the upcoming school year. "I love working with children and to be apart of an event like this is rewarding, because I am able to personally motivate and prepare the students for school", says J-Kruz.

Back To School Roundup is an organization that helps prepare students for the school by providing eligible families with free school supplies and services. This year is the organizations' seventh annual event and they are expecting thousands of students and parents to attend. Roundup is a joint effort from several Tarrant County organizations and is funded by donations and contributions that allow Roundup to provide free dental and health screenings, haircuts, school supplies, and offer information on topics such as literacy, nutrition, fire safety and etc. There will also be fun interactive activities and musical entertainment for the whole family to enjoy throughout the day.
