New York City, NY - February 1, 2011 - Gayle Naftaly, founder and president of access.office has signed on as the NYC/Long Island Marketing Coordinator for the Asian-American Cultural Festivals of Long Island. The festivals have been called visual extravaganzas for their colorful costumes and displays, and traditionally attract more than 3,000 people from the Asian and non-Asian communities on Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and beyond.
"I am delighted to be promoting these festivals as they are part of an exciting new trend that celebrates ethnic identity and cultural expression. There's no better way to foster goodwill, tolerance and diversity in this global environment than by bringing multi-ethnic groups together to learn, share and appreciate."

This year is the 5th for the Asian-American Cultural Festival of LI to be held at Farmingdale State College on April 16th from 12-5pm (afternoon program) and 5-9pm (evening program). The afternoon program is free to attend and features natives of various Asian countries presenting cultural exhibits, live performances, art exhibitions, interactive shows and ceremonies. Children will enjoy the Lion Dance, workshops, craft demonstrations and entertainment such as puppet shows geared especially to them. Adults will appreciate the multicultural performances, fashion show and cultural exhibits from several different regions. Included will be corporate displays and vendor tables, an Asian market, and a food court. Throughout the afternoon there will periodic drawings for raffle prizes for all ages with the proceeds going to the Interfaith Nutrition Network.

The evening program is a Food and Wine Networking Reception that includes a stage performance by professional artists, live music and an opportunity to market your business in a multicultural environment. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on the website or by calling 631.543.5768.
