Actor Tobias Menzies Launches WaterAid Campaign in New Role as Ambassador for the Charity

NEW YORK, November 7, 2019 (Newswire.com) - ​WaterAid today announces that actor Tobias Menzies (The Crown, Outlander, and Game of Thrones) has become an ambassador for the international charity.

The announcement comes ahead of the launch of the third season of The Crown, which will be available on Netflix from November 17. Tobias will be seen as Prince Philip, alongside Olivia Coleman, who plays Queen Elizabeth II.

Tobias’s first official duty in his new role is to launch WaterAid’s winter campaign, Access Denied, which aims to raise $2 million to help get clean water and decent sanitation to poor communities around the world.
