AIM's 3G surveillance system put into commercial launch

Online, May 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Fopllowing the IP Camera with 3G support capability was debutted with ShangHai Telecom's mobile value added service department in December of 2009, the project has been now fully released to commerical use. "This is a great leap for us to achive the goal to deliver the video on the mobile on 3G-EVDO Systems", added by Mike Cheung, Vice President of Engineering in AIM Vdieo Technologies.

The system integrated more than 100 3g surveillance cameras into public security applications with a central server and GPS capabilit built into each terminal.

The central server has the capability to optimize the video stream transmission from the terminals to the central server and further up to the video storage server. The patent pending technology has intrigued several other industry leading applications service providers.
