Albakor Dystortion Builds Love Through Live-Music For a Struggling Inner-city Arts School in LA

Los Angeles, CA- Albakor Dystortion the daring new duo from Leonard Washington(Atlanta) and Timothy Armstrong(Los Angeles). The two met while students at Berklee College of Music. They are set to headline the Westport Heights Jazz Festival.

This will be Albakor Dystortion's first performance together ever. They've achieved moderate success on their self-titled EP available on iTunes; because they haven't been able to be in the same room in the last year. With Tim tragically losing his father just before they were set to release and Leonard teaching music at a private Christian elementary Academy during the week in Atlanta, GA plus singing in weddings on the weekend. They haven't been able to schedule anything to promote their EP which they released in March 2010.

The festival is a celebration of African American music in recognition of Black History Month. They are showcasing Gospel, Jazz, blues & soul. Their goal is to bring a greater awareness and appreciation of Jazz & its various offspring to the Los Angeles community.
