AlHassan Group Appreciate The Employees Children's Excellent Performance In Academics.

Online, October 26, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Mr. Salim Naseer Al-Hadhrami, Director General Employment, Ministry of Manpower, inaugurated the Employee Newsletter along with senior management of Al Hassan Group including Chairman, Mr. Hassan bin Ali Salman, Managing Director, Mr. Maqbool Ali Salman, Mr. Peter Hall, CEO - Al Hassan Engineering Co. SAOG and Eng. Talal Al Assaad, CEO - Manufacturing & Trading, Al Hassan Group.

Mr. Maqbool Ali Salman said, "We believe that a happy employee brings in creativity, innovation and results. We encourage lateral thinking through the Employee Suggestion Scheme which has been launched a year back and hundreds of employees have given their suggestions for the benefit of the Group. It is worth mentioning here that quite a number of Omani employees also participated and have given their suggestions for the betterment of the organization, as individuals and also as a Team. This shows that employees when they feel involved use "Heads & Hearts" and give the best of the ideas for the organisation. The Group has benefitted immensely because of the suggestion scheme.

The Program started with Mr. Shahzad Sadan, GM - Organisation Development giving an overview about the various "Talent Appreciation" initiatives, the Group has undertaken.

Eng. Talal Al Assaad said "Al Hassan believes in Family - Family of the employee. A happy family makes a happy employee. Children of the employee, if they fare well in their studies, the parents also feel proud and as a Group we also feel proud for them."

In order to appreciate the employees' children's excellent performance in academics, the Group rewarded and recognised the children of the employees through "Child Appreciation" Programme. Around 40 children were given the merit award and we are proud that many employees' children are engineers, doctors and those in secondary schools have scored more than 80% marks.

The Program ended with vote of thanks by Mr. Murtadha Mohsin, Head - Omanisation & Administration who thanked the Chief Guest. He also thanked all the children and employees for their active participation.
