Korey, the director of operations at Amplify Inc., discussed his desire to help organizations that will enhance the company’s overall reputation and team togetherness.  Giving back to the community, he claimed, is the best way to do this.

Some of the principal groups on Korey’s list for Amplify Inc. include the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh, the Special Olympics, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. “The YMCA has a focus on the community’s youth and their development,” he said. “As volunteers, we would like to provide the organization with the resources they need to keep kids confident, active, and healthy.”

“Being involved with the Special Olympics would be a great opportunity to make others’ goals a possibility,” said Korey. “Big Brothers Big Sisters have a number of worthwhile activities, in addition to sports. They have programs which focus on bolstering children’s knowledge, self-esteem, and trust in others. All of these programs are beneficial to the individuals they help. Plus, they are fun!”
