Prairie Conlon, Host of The Animal Effect

New Mental Health News Radio Network podcast The Animal Effect shines a light on animal-assisted therapy and its role in a holistic approach to mental well-being.

Each episode shares cutting-edge information about the world of animal-assisted therapy, catering specifically to animal and nature lovers and to anyone interested in new and alternative approaches to mental and emotional health.

Host Prairie Conlon is a licensed mental health professional with a master's degree in mental health counseling and a postgraduate degree in military behavioral health counseling. In addition, she is certified as an equine-assisted psychotherapist and an Accelerated Resolution Therapist. She is a trainer, consultant, and the Clinical Director of Therapetic.

In addition to these illustrious credits, Conlon has been featured on Lifetime TV's "Military Makeover" (Season 17) and The Guardian documentary "Creature Comforts" for her work as the founder and developer of Emotional Support Animal Assisted Therapy (ESAAT) to further enhance the effectiveness of emotional support animals.

Conlon says, "I grew up on a cattle ranch surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes ... animals don't ask questions, they don't judge, they don't manipulate. The purity and vulnerability our animals have can help bring out our Inner Hero."

The Animal Effect airs weekly on Mental Health News Radio Network and all major podcast networks.
