Audrey Elizabeth is a 19 year old pop/country singer and songwriter from Lexington, Kentucky. She has been writing, singing and recording her music since 2009. She entered and won an online contest through Shine On Foundation which is an organization that sponsors artists that are in need of funding. She is currently working in Nashville with producers Susie Marshall and Spike Jones.

Her debut CD, "Just Sayin" is expected to be released in the Spring of 2011. "Lonely Drop Of Rain" is the lead single off this new CD which is available now. It is a song about a girl asking for answers about life and the world around her. She's looking for positive reinforcement that things will be ok and that it's only a moment in your life - a lonely drop of rain and you will weather through it. This song was written from personal experience. The loss of Audrey's grandmother, moving away to school and other personal issues gave her the inspiration. This single signifies her growth from a moth to a butterfly, beginning her journey through life, having new life experiences and delivering those images and thoughts through her music. It is great introduction to Audrey Elizabeth and her music.

"Lonely Drop Of Rain" has an upbeat tempo, with sweet vocals, her story is told through positive eyes. Her vocals, harmonies and overall appeal is quite evident. This is a country tune. A lot of her music is country but has pop tunes mixed in just for your entertainment.
