Aurora Educational Strategies, the leader in accelerated learning, has named Neal Howard as their new Vice President of Development.

In his new position Mr. Howard will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing teams, producing events, and establishing and maintaining relationships with parents of students, and corporate sponsors.

"Aurora's needs-based and merit-based scholarship programs are innovative and have been very successful. The Aurora Day School is growing exponentially, and we are committed to making even more scholarship dollars available to our students for the coming school year," said Kellie Huff, Aurora Strategies' CEO and founder of the Aurora Day School. "Our success in helping students with learning challenges gain 2-6 years in development during each school year is a model that Aurora is extending to more families. Mr. Howard's skills and experience are an important part of that."

"One source of funds that Aurora has been successful in distributing to our students comes via tax credits from individuals and corporations. "As a father of an incredible little boy with special needs, I know there is nothing more important than finding the right tools to help children and young adults who may learn differently, be able to succeed," said Mr. Howard. "I'm proud to be joining the Aurora team, and to be part of the very real success that Aurora makes possible for so many families."

About the Aurora Day School

Aurora accelerates learning for children and adults of all abilities. Aurora produces statistically significant results working with children who have sensory, motor, social, communications & language and other learning challenges. Aurora offers new hope for families of children, grades K - 12, who have struggled to succeed in other schools. Proven, neuroscience-based strategies shed light on where and why students are struggling. Then, individualized, therapeutic instruction plans are created to strengthen - and often re-map - neural path¬ways; creating a strong foundation for higher education. Two to six years of measurable subject area and skill gains are typical in one year. Equally important, students discover successful paths to lifelong learning. Aurora Day School is fully accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. Find out more about Aurora Strategies and the Aurora Day School on the web at aurorastrategies.com.
