Author Bernadine Hightower Chaple's new book, 'The Little House Nobody Loved', is a heartwarming storybook about how a little bit of love can change everything

Recent release "The Little House Nobody Loved" from Newman Springs Publishing author Bernadine Hightower Chaple is the story of a once-vibrant home that is given new life with a new family after years of neglect and disrepair, showing the ultimate power of love and caring.

Bernadine Hightower Chaple has completed her new book, "The Little House Nobody Loved": a story for kids about how love can turn things around even when they seem completely hopeless. Chaple is a retired teacher having taught in Texas and Georgia. She spends her time substitute teaching second and third generation students in Texas when not writing. A graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, she has taught every grade level from kindergarten to 12th grade and is currently working to get two novels published.

"The Little House Nobody Loved" unconventionally features the titular house as the main character. The little house takes pride in how he provides for the family that lives within him. He protects them from the elements, keeping them warm in the winter, dry from rain, and safe from outside danger. He enjoys the family's laughter, the pitter-patter of little feet, and the smells of the mother's flower garden. The little house loves the aroma of delicious food cooked for the family's meals.

Then one day, the children grow up, and the father and mother go to a nursing home. He is all alone; other couples do not want him. His heart is broken that he is no longer useful—no longer wanted. One day, another family discovers him and sees him as perfect for them. They repair him, and he is happy once more.

Readers who want to enjoy this heartwarming tale with their families, can purchase "The Little House Nobody Loved" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iBooks Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
