Avamere Launches First Podcast Episode From Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev., March 24, 2021 (Newswire.com) - The Avamere Family of Companies, a group of senior living and healthcare organizations, launched its first podcast on March 15, 2021. 

The People of Avamere Pod features residents, patients, and employees across the Avamere family's seven companies spanning 20 states.  

The first episode showcases Cathy Arness, a resident at Avamere at Cheyenne in Las Vegas, Nevada. Titled The Las Vegas Life, Arness reveals what it was like raising a family in the city that never sleeps, her exciting experience working at a casino with the mob, and what life was like during the Great Depression. 

During the exclusive interview, when asked why she chose Avamere at Cheyenne as home, Arness replied, "I never chose it. It came to me."  

During her first visit to the assisted living community, Arness and Avamere at Cheyenne's Director of Sales and Outreach, Tegan Dein, connected right away. They have only become closer over time, finding a deep connection in a shared experience of losing their beloved children.
