Balentine, an independent, employee-owned investment advisory firm, is a proud sponsor of the 12th annual Atlanta Jewish Film Festival (AJFF). The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival is Atlanta's largest film festival and the second largest Jewish film festival in the United States. This year's festival will feature 70 narrative and documentary films from throughout the world, exploring aspects of the Jewish experience.

"At Balentine, we believe a global perspective provides essential insight into today's markets," explained Philip Cave, Director of Business Development at Balentine. "We are proud to support the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival in its efforts to share a variety of perspectives on complex and challenging issues facing both the Jewish and global communities."

Founded in 2000, the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival seeks to both entertain and educate audiences, sharing aspects of Jewish culture and history. Last year's festival attracted over 26,000 moviegoers, and this year's 22 day event promises to reach an even larger audience with a program of films that would typically not be available to local audiences.

"The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival brings a range of cinematically significant and hard to see films to Atlanta," said Dr. Tonia Edwards, Balentine's Communications and Marketing Manager and Adjunct Professor of Film and Media at Georgia State University. "From popular favorites to more experimental fare, this year's line up is remarkable and provides an important addition to Atlanta's growing film and media culture."

The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival's opening night will be held at the Fox Theatre on February 8th and will feature that Atlanta premiere of My Best Enemy, a World War II era art forgery film. The Festival will run from February 8th through the 29th, with screenings held at venues throughout Atlanta.
