Online, June 22, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Inland Empire Based GVR Records & Entertainment recently joined forces with Gospel Artist Leszia Renee' for the release of her debut fifteen song offering entitled, "What about me?".
The CD's release date of June 25th 2011 was set to coincide with Leszia's live performance at the San Diego County Fair where she will be opening for Award Winning Gospel Icon and TV Host, Mr. Kirk Frankiln.
Leszia's record label home was founded four years ago in Corona California by "Frankie Beverly and Maze" Bassist, Larry Kimpel. Says Larry, "I started GVR Records and Entertainment as an independent vehicle for my own music projects." "However it is now quickly growing into a home for other artists like myself who
wish to be treated with respect and integrity... Aside from releasing great music into the marketplace, that's my primary objective."
A Los Angeles, California Native, Leszia Renee has been singing her entire life; both in church, and on the theatre stage. She wrote and produced the entire CD, but had help in the actual recording of the project.
Says Leszia, "I went out and hired an engineer and studio to help me bring the songs on the CD to life!" "And my cousin flew into town to record background vocals on a couple of songs". "The whole process has been a humbling experience to say the least." "However, it's all been worth it, because I get to sing the praises of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and there's nothing more rewarding than that in my opinion."
