Center for Independent Documentary (CID) Partners with Mimoona to Host Crowdfunding Platform

Online, June 27, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Four intriguing films of varying content are currently up on the Center for Independent Documentary site and many more are on the way. Among the films are "Yurumein: Homeland, the story of the Caribs of St. Vincent," a film on the African Diaspora, "The Songpoet," a biographic film on American singer-songwriter Eric Andersen, "Voices of the Abasiyazzi - Creating Allies," a film on the LGBT community in Uganda, and "An Intimate Dance," a film on contact improvisation. The pledged goal for these four film ranges from $20,000 to $32,000 and great rewards are offered to contributors of the projects.
