Change Evolution in consultation with The Malta Intelligent Energy Management Agency (MIEMA) appointed by Intelligent Energy - Europe (IEE) created a Concept Proposal for Malta's renewable energy needs. Based upon local planning guidelines, Change Evolution successfully acquired a consensus for the use of small wind turbine/solar hybrid solutions such that feasibility studies are being discussed with members of The Institute for Sustainable Energy part of Malta's University and MIEMA.
The overall goal of the strategy is to apply solutions that are fit for purpose, whilst at the same time enhance the local distributor and installation economy in Malta. With this in mind Change Evolution as a consequence of positive interest from manufactures following these events, is inviting existing European distributors of Main Land Europe and European Islands, and their local energy agencies to join Change Evolutions strategy as an expression of interest in expanding their renewable energy portfolio.
"The future of renewable energy solutions could be compared to the switch from oil and gas burning lamps to the light bulb as we know it today" said Peter Jones of Change Evolution. "If we can bring together governments and energy agencies including commercial sectors within the sustainable energy industry, we can all benefit from the rewards of investing in the reduction of Co2 emissions.
The UK, Malta and Germany along with 38 other countries have already committed via the Covent of Mayors to reduce their carbon footprint 20% by 2020.
If you have an interest as a current distributor of renewable and or sustainable energy solutions, then you should email: [email protected] outlining your interest and the country/s you wish to implement renewable energy solutions particularly for Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT).
