Children's Author, Deborah Bernstein, to Visit and Read from Her Award Winning Book at Local Area Hospital.

Online, November 4, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Mrs. Bernstein has a unique background in the pageantry industry. She has held both State and National titles including: Mrs. U.S. Continental 2010, 2011, Ms. Florida 2008 as well as Mrs. Florida 2002. Deborah's multi-faceted background is the foundation of all her efforts, including those which demonstrate her selfless, "giving back" contributions to the community.

She was a key collaborator in formulating the mission and direction of The Bernstein Family Foundation, a not-for-profit organization established in 2007. Its mission is to provide financial support to organizations that assist families and children in need of counseling and therapeutic services.

As more and more families are burdened with the issues of critical mental health problems, the Bernstein Family Foundation (BFF) is committed to helping children and families access therapeutic counseling services when they are needed most. Deborah Bernstein says, "If more people had access to these services at the onset of a crisis, it might prevent something from escalating and ending up as a bona fide tragedy such as Sandy Hook or the shooting at the naval base.

During her visit to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, Deborah will be introducing Stylish Stella's Magic Crown, a children's book that promotes "Confidence is always in Style". All children will receive an autographed copy of the book and will have the opportunity to create a magic crown of their own.
