Conexiant Increases Call Capacity For Election Campaigns
Online, October 29, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Conexiant Telecom announces increased call capacity for the high demand generated by the election campaigns. The increased capacity in Denver, LA, and their largest international POP in Frankfurt will allow for more traffic throughout their global network.
Conexiant has four POPs around the world to seamlessly create a meshed network that gives the ability to claim "always-on" telecom. Each call is routed to a main POP and has a backup POP for redundancy. The Denver POP can fail over to LA or Hong Kong; any of the POPs can failover to any other location and ensure customers are always up and running.
It is estimated that more than 100 million telephone calls have been made by both parties in this election year. According to Jim Messina, the Obama election campaign manager, at the time of the Democratic National Convention, the campaign and its supporters had made 43 million phone calls. And the high rate of telephone calls won't slow down until after the election.
"Conexiant is quick to respond to changing conditions," according to Director of Sales Matt Grekalski, "Increased customer demand required additional capacity and our global POPs ensure high quality. The additional capacity also leverages our worldwide Level3 backbone which guarantees the lowest latency."
The company is also well-known to wholesale VoIP providers as a top source of local and toll free telephone numbers from 60 countries.
