Dan Filby Joins SNH Capital Partners as CEO of Universal Background Screening

AUSTIN, Texas, October 22, 2019 (Newswire.com) - SNH Capital Partners (“SNH”), a U.S.-based, private investment firm with control investments in small to lower middle-market portfolio companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Filby as Chief Executive Officer of SNH’s portfolio company, Universal Background Screening (“UBS”). In his capacity as CEO, Dan will lead UBS through its next phase of growth and will be focused on operational excellence, the customer experience and thought leadership in the background screening industry.

Dan comes to UBS from HighWire, a global provider of technology and services for publishers, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member since 2015. Under his leadership the HighWire team developed and released the industry’s first “Intelligent Publishing Platform,” creating a single coherent platform for all products. Prior to this role he served as President at First Advantage TCS where he developed and launched four new SaaS offerings including first analytics solutions for HR and transportation compliance. Earlier in his career he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Planitax (now Thomson Reuters) and Adlex (Now Compuware) where he was instrumental in their growth, strategy, and exits.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada. He holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and earned a Master Certification in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University. He is currently an Advisor to the Northern Ireland Executive Government on trade and investment opportunities.
