Dana P. Oswalt of Benson & Bingham Accident Injury Lawyers, LLC Wins Nevada Justice Association's Rising Star Award

LAS VEGAS, September 23, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Dana P. Oswalt recently won the Nevada Justice Association’s 2020 Club X Rising Star Award. This award, created in 2019, recognizes outstanding new leaders in the Nevada Justice Association (NJA), a group of independent lawyers who share the goal of improving Nevada’s justice system.

The NJA seeks not only to ensure that its attorneys maintain an up-to-date understanding of all the latest statutes and legal changes in Nevada, but also that citizens across the state have full and equal access to the justice system. The NJA aims to educate Nevada citizens so that they fully understand their rights and responsibilities under the law.

NJA’s Rising Star Award focuses on the contributions of an individual attorney to the organization’s broad goals, including partnering with other members to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and provide the benefit of past experience to other attorneys.

This year, Dana has been highly active in the organization, helping to expand the knowledge of its members and provide both citizens and fellow attorneys with insight into personal injury law and how it affects victims of serious accidents. The Rising Star Award acknowledges Dana’s commitment to aiding her clients in the pursuit of justice and compensation.  In addition to these accolades, Dana was awarded a Rising Star for Mountain States (Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and Idaho) by Super Lawyers this year for the fourth year running and named a Legal Elite: Top Attorneys in Nevada by Nevada Business for a fifth consecutive year.  

Dana graduated in 2010 from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She passed the Nevada bar exam on her first try in July 2010. Since then, she has made outstanding contributions to the state’s justice system and to her clients throughout Nevada, representing them in personal injury claims and helping them to achieve justice and maximize their compensation. Her tenacity and determination have helped many clients successfully recover compensation in their claims.
