The nationally televised event airs at 8pm central time on Monday, October 3rd, 2011. MC is the only rapper on the show and made quite an impression with his Colorado collective, Urban Method. During the first round of eliminations, judges Sara Bareilles and Ben Folds commented on Myke's rare star quality. Since then, Myke Charles has had his video footage aired on USA Today's Morning Show and made an appearance as the spokesman for Urban Method on Channel 9 News in Colorado.
