Designer Showcase and Benefit

Online, June 29, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Balistreri Realty hosts the 1st Designer Showcase in Lake Toxaway at the Gomez Estate, July 6th through the 14th, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

This showcase and benefit is being held at the 10,000 square foot residence built by Patty and Jack Gomez of Naples Florida, over a three year period at a cost of over 15 million dollars, which is now available for under $10 million dollars. This estate sits on a gently sloping lot with over 300' (feet) of frontage on Lake Toxaway. Lake Toxaway is the largest private access lake in North Carolina and is strictly recreational. Crystal and Bark Design of Highlands, NC and Woodstock, Vt. did the architecture and design. Contractor John Lupoli of Highlands built the estate which was completed in 2005.

Over fifteen designers will be represented at this Showcase and benefit. Each designer will bring their individual artistic interpretation to this luxurious dwelling. These designers come from Cashiers, Asheville, and Hendersonville, N.C. all the way to Buckhead, Atlanta, GA.

The designers for this benefit will decorate five stunning suites on three levels, accessible by stairs and elevator. There is also a separate guest house and a double boathouse. This private and gated property is luxuriously landscaped and affords breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Pre-event ticket sales for this Designer Showcase and Benefit are $15 and $20 at the door. Net proceeds will benefit a new animal shelter, to be approved for ground breaking this year in Transylvania County. Parking and shuttle will be available daily from 10 to 4 p.m. at the Lake Toxaway Methodist Church on Cold Mountain Road. Take highway 64 to 281 north, just past the fire and rescue station, go left on Cold Mountain Road.
