Digisonics Partners with Cedaron for CVIS and Registry Reporting

The Digisonics DigiView Cardiovascular PACS and Structured Reporting System now interfaces with Cedaron CardiacCare for registry reporting to the ACC, STS and other state registries.

Digisonics, the top rated CVIS provider is proud to announce a partnership with Cedaron, the top ACC, STS and NCDR Registry Reporting company, based in Davis, CA.

The Digisonics DigiView system provides structured reporting and image management for all cardiovascular modalities. KLAS has rated Digisonics the top Cardiology PACS for three consecutive years* (2008, 2009, and 2010).

DigiView now interfaces with the Cedaron CardiacCare application for outcomes data collection and national database participation and reporting. With the integration of these systems, cardiac cath information will be utilized in both DigiView for CVIS structured reporting and in CardiacCare, for registry reporting to the ACC (American College of Cardiology), STS (Society for Thoracic Surgeons), and other state registries.

"CardiacCare not only provides reporting to a wide range of registries, it also ensures that data meets specifications of the registries and alerts users when data must be added thus eliminating the need for data audits. Further, Cedaron's CardiacCare software allows clinical users to compare data outcomes with other practitioners in the registries," said Karen Bond, President and CEO of Cedaron.

According to Digisonics President and CEO Dr. Diana McSherry, "Digisonics is delighted to offer the combined features of structured reporting, image management, and registry reporting and to support the goals of its customers in benchmarking practice patterns and outcomes against those of other institutions."
