DJ Williams Projekt Brings the Noise for a Good Cause

Come out and enjoy DJ Williams Projekt on March 10th while we raise money for ACE Liberia and The Ann Sandell Independent School. Silent Auctions, 50/50 and more.

Music lovers can check out DJ Williams Projekt (with guest soloist, Rachel Scott) on March 10th when they play in support of ACE Liberia and the Anne Sandell Independent School (ASIS). The 3rd Annual Projekt for Progress will be hosted by the The Answer Brewpub at 6008 W. Broad Street on Thursday, March 10th from 6 to 10 PM and will feature silent auctions, raffles and more.

ACE Liberia's vision is to nurture, inspire and support the development of strong citizens that will contribute to the development of strong communities. One of their primary projects has been the development of a model elementary school program through work with ASIS that can be shared with other schools in the country. The Ann Sandell Independent School is a K through 9th grade community-based school for underprivileged youth that might not otherwise benefit from basic education due to limited access to public schools.

"It is gratifying to be able to work with a community of supports, willing to contribute by positively impacting lives on a global level. What better way to do so than with our youth, our future. Thanks for bridging the gap through sharing,"

Sophie Williams, Board Chair

About ACE Liberia

Africa Community Exchange (ACE) began with a group of concerned, former Liberian residents now living in the United States who wanted to make a contribution to the country that had positively impacted their lives. Liberia had experienced 14 years of civil war and an Ebola crisis that have resulted in human despair. The group decided to create a non-profit organization that would serve as a bridge to connect Liberia education and health entities to resources that would help build capacity and improve quality of service. ACE is incorporated and qualified as a charitable organization, making gifts to it tax deductible.
