The system works with standard machining center software. Simple dot-to-dot marking patterns are accomplished through RPM and feed rate settings. No cutting fluids or air are required for activating the carbide stylus. The system marks soft and hard materials up to 55RC on round, flat or uneven marking surfaces and is only limited by the travel of your machine, the company says..

The system package includes a spindle holder specific to the machining center and the appropriate stop block. Because it has few wear items, the unit requires minimal maintenance. It is suitable for aerospace applications requiring low stress.
