Europe's Great Opera Houses Brought To Washington, DC!

Online, March 29, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The Atlas Performing Arts Center is proud to present Opera in Cinema, a series of stunning HD presentations of operas from the world over, including the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy, the world's most renowned opera house.

Opera in Cinema features productions of operatic masterpieces such as Rigoletto and Don Giovanni, starring internationally celebrated singers such as Jonas Kaufmann, Angela Gheorghiu, Juan Diego Flórez, Rene Pape, Erwin Schrott and Ben Heppner. Also, a performance of Swan Lake from Russia's legendary Kirov Ballet will screen during the series!

Opera in Cinema is provided by Emerging Pictures. With over 60 venues across the country and over 180 venues internationally, Emerging Pictures represents a union of independent distribution and the latest technology.
