Fayetteville Roundtable to Discuss Roadmap for Creating Holistic Support Programs for Local Military Veterans

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C., January 16, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Local military veteran-serving organizations are gathering for the Fayetteville Roundtable, a discussion of best practices for proactively and holistically serving local veterans, their families and caregivers. Attendees will participate in resource mapping exercises and panel discussions tailored to the unique situations facing veterans in the Fayetteville area, which hosts one of the largest military and veteran populations in the country. The event will occur at Fayetteville Technical Community College on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST.

The Fayetteville Roundtable was made possible by local family-owned restaurant chain Biscuitville Fresh Southern®, which raised the funds to support the event by participating in Patriot’s Pour, a cause-marketing program managed by national nonprofit America’s Warrior Partnership. To facilitate knowledge sharing between local, regional and national experts, America’s Warrior Partnership is co-hosting the event with regional veteran-serving organization NCServes Central Carolina.

The event is intended to bring together all resource providers within the Fayetteville community that support veterans to share best practices and build stronger connections. Collaboration at the local level is the key to improving the lives of all veterans, family members and caregivers in their community.
