Future Hall of Famer and NY Jets Legend Darrelle Revis Recharges the Youth, Hosts 2nd Annual Hunger & Health (H2) Fun Fest at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex

PITTSBURGH, July 18, 2019 (Newswire.com) - On Saturday, July 20, Pittsburgh, PA from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Darrelle Revis, future Hall of Famer, NY Jets Legend, Super Bowl Champion and philanthropist, will host the second annual Hunger & Health (H2) Fun Fest through his nonprofit organization Darrelle Revis Foundation, whose mission is to tackle childhood hunger by assisting families with tools to live a healthy lifestyle.

The foundation’s Hunger & Health (H2) program serves as a resource for families working to
provide healthy lifestyles for their children due to economic hardships. Through health camps, workshops and mentorship, H2 provides a fun-filled day of learning opportunities that support physical and mental wellness for the entire family; H2 Fun Fest is an extension of this program. 

Taking place at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex where Revis excelled as a student-athlete, H2 Fun Fest is designed to give children in grades 1-8 access to fun, educational workshops and interactive experiences throughout the day. Key foundation supporters include University of Pittsburgh and New Age Beverages, the official healthy hydration partner of Darrelle Revis Foundation. All participants will be provided a healthy breakfast and lunch and leave with a Darrelle Revis Foundation duffle bag full of goodies, snacks, drinks and tools to aid in leading a healthy lifestyle.

Expert-led workshops will feature Boxing, 7 on 7 Flag Football, Fitness Workshops, Meal Prep, Youth Empowerment and Motivation by leadership coach Nick Jackson and an informative Q & A panel hosted by Darrelle Revis. Games and prizes for all workshops will be distributed throughout the day.
