Glenelg Country School Welcomes New York Times Bestselling Children's Book Author Todd Parr
Todd Parr Visits Glenelg Country School and will Attend the School's Annual Barnes & Noble Book Fair on November 9, 2017
ELLICOTT CITY, Md., October 25, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Glenelg Country School (GCS), a leading independent college preparatory school for age two through grade twelve, welcomes New York Times bestselling children’s book author and illustrator Todd Parr. On November 9, 2017, Parr will attend the Annual GCS Barnes & Noble Book Fair located at 4300 Montgomery Rd. in Ellicott City. The author of popular titles such as The I Love You Book, The Earth Book, and The Thankful Book, will have a signing at 5:30 p.m.
During his time at GCS, Parr will meet with students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 to discuss his books’ themes that directly relate to character education. With over 40 books in his repertoire, Parr finds the perfect way to help children learn about complex topics such as their emotions, diverse family units, bereavement, making mistakes, and more. Through vibrant colors and inviting illustrations, Parr creates a world that is inviting and fun.
