Fortune asked Great Place to Work to judge Sevan and the more than 500 other organizations, examining factors like availability of telecommuting, flex-time, compressed work weeks, job sharing and phased retirement programs. Companies were evaluated based on responses to Great Place to Work’s “Trust Index” employee assessment surveys, as well as an analysis of respondents’ anonymous comments. The surveys asked employees about Sevan’s approach to work-life balance, as well as the ways that Sevan empowers employees to thrive in their personal lives without compromising their careers. Factors included communication, fairness and leadership.
