Washington, DC, September4, 2009-Greencollar Association sends Co-founder, Dr. Michael Oved Dayan, as delegate to National Clean Energy Summit. This summit was convened on August 10th, 2009 by Greencollar Association fundraising partner Center for American Progress and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was an intimate gathering of leaders from industry, science, government, and advocacy organizations convening to discuss setting policy architecture for creating greencollar jobs by accelerating the deployment of clean energy and energy efficiency, and by advancing energy independence.

Greencollar Association sent Co-founder, Dr. Michael Oved Dayan, as representativeto this summit, with attendees including Former President Bill Clinton; Former Vice President Al Gore; Secretary of Energy Steven Chu; Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis; Assistant Energy Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Cathy Zoi; Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington; Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa; President of the Laborers' International Union of North America Terry O'Sullivan; White House Council on Environmental Quality Van Jones; Former General Wesley Clark; United Nations Foundation President Tim Wirth; and billionaire energy executive T. Boone Pickens.
