GVK One Brings A Platter Of Festive Offerings For Hyderabadis On The Occasion Of Navratri!
Online, October 13, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Hyderabad: Keeping alive its philosophy of ensuring customers are a priority, GVK one organized a series of engaging workshops for its visitors on the occasion of Navratri.
Considering India has an age-old tradition of festivals that is intricately woven into the lives of people and celebrated with zeal and fervor, GVK one brought in expert craftsmen to teach visitors tricks of the trade where bangle making and Mehendi design is concerned.
Visitors of the mall were seen actively engaging and equipping themselves in understanding the basics of how to design bangles and weave designs using Mehendi - another set of visitors were seen discussing and sharing views with the craftsmen and thus hone their existing skills on the same.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Naiju Thomas, General Manager, GVK one said, "In celebrating this festive season, GVK one will be providing visitors of the mall the opportunity to interact with craftsmen who will share their expertise in areas like bangle making and Mehendi designing. This will especially help people add that personal touch to their attire and thus help in making the festive season a little more personal. Such initiatives from the mall is our way of thanking the many visitors that makes GVK one a successful mall in the city today".
An exciting and interesting aspect of this initiative was the 'Potters Wheel' wherein visitors got to make their own set of clay pots with the help of the potter - the finished product was then handed over to the visitor to take home and thus retain the festive element that GVK one provides!
Visitors can avail these sessions absolutely free of cost. These activities will be conducted until 16th of October from 4.30 onwards on weekdays and 3.00 onwards on week ends and will close at 8.30 pm.
