Hesketh-Leihner Provides Trading Services in South Korea
Online, May 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Hesketh-Leihner is pleased to announce the launch of trading for derivatives listed on the KOSDAQ index in South Korea, through both direct market access and algorithmic strategies. The offering will be introduced in September 2011, with a number of institutions and regulators currently accessing the trading platform for evaluation purposes. The offering is a part of Hesketh-Leihner's continued expansion of its trading capabilities in East Asia. Hesketh-Leihner successfully launched its full suite of trading platform capabilities for Japan in July 2009.
The Hesketh-Leihner Trading Platform (HLTP) in Korea includes a full suite of algorithms to trade derivatives, including index futures ETF's, alternative and quantitative investments. Institutional clients can access these algorithms through HLTP's trading system, their own proprietary system or third-party order/execution management systems. In addition, HLTP offers direct market access to the KOSDAQ, KOSPY and KRX 100 index futures via the same HLTP trading platform.
